How does the Droid RAZR M fare with a 2GHz Intel processor inside? | Engadget
Very well, thank you very much. Compared to its ARM equipped twin, the Intel device is slight behind on graphic benchmarks, but brows faster, has noticeable better all-round performance (such as faster booting etc) and better battery life. Both in use and in standby. Is this Intel we’re talking about? I quoted Anandtech a couple of days ago saying “ARM is the new AMD”. Turns out that maybe Intel is the new ARM… Impressive. After years and years of talking, it seems as Intel is finally doing within mobile. And next year the giant tech company will move on to 22nm processes, something ARM vendors will have a hard time to match.
